Overview: |
We form categories as part of everyday life. Sometimes this is good (these foods are all high in fat) while sometimes they can lead to societal problems (as in stereotypes and racism). This computer program allow students to design experiments that explore how categories are created and how they affect our perception and judgments of images.
This module was created by the Indiana University Cognitive Science Program and is also available along with many others on their website: IU Cognitive Science Software.
