What is this Site?

This web site (and the pages it links to) contain information about the design and theory of the Central Control Program (CCP). A new CCP is being designed during the Summer and Fall of 2002 by the IRIS Mobile Robot Project team and will be implemented by Rohini Katla, a Grad Student at I.S.U.

Introduction:

The Central Control Program is the centerpiece of the IRIS Mobile Robot. A well designed and implemented CCP should allow IRIS to be highly scalable and will keep her viable for many future robotics projects to come. Through the years of IRIS' existence, multiple attempts at building a quality CCP have been made. Links to information on some recent attempts at the CCP are below.
