We have created two functionally different versions of the Stroke lab. The first is the Basic Version, which is intended to be completed in one sitting. The Basic Version was the origianl version of the lab, and is often a good version to direct students to. The second is the Flexible Version, which was created later to add functions that teachers might find helpful. The Flexible Version is designed to allow teachers to present the lab in portions, or simply jump to a certain section in the lab. This Flexible Version is often reserved for teachers, but can be used very effectivley with students.

The Flexible Version of the Stroke Lab has a special feature so the lab (which consists of 3 parts) can be started at the beginning, or at Part 2 or at Part 3. This means the lab can be done over a period of 2-3 days. The 1st day students will start at the beginning and complete Part 1 (or Parts 1 & 2). The next day they will begin at Part 2 of the lab and pick-up where they left off. All students can "jump" immediately to Part 2 and the server will register that all steps required for Part 1 have already been completed. This gives teachers extra flexibility to do the lab over several days.

To access the teachers section in the Virtual Stroke Lab you will need to load the teacher version of the lab and then sign-in where it says "Hello my name is Dr. ____________" (there is no "teachers section in the Basic Version)

You will then see two possible places you can jump to, as well as the option to start from the begining.

After jumping to a new section (3rd section is shown below) you will begin as if all requirments have been completed up to that point.
